Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established civil litigation defense firm with over 40 years of experience. Since 1980, the firm has built a strong reputation representing developers and general contractors in construction defect and casualty claims. It is recognized for its high standards and respected presence within the legal industry.
Our client is seeking a Contract Litigation Associate to support their team with a remote work option available. This role will be instrumental in handling civil litigation matters, managing cases, and providing high-level legal support throughout all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery while managing case documentation
  • Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
  • Provide regular case updates and strategic guidance to clients and insurance partners
  • Oversee day-to-day litigation workflow, including case strategy and billable time tracking

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation with active membership in the Oregon State Bar
  • Strong experience drafting and arguing motions
  • Solid understanding of court processes and litigation procedures
  • Proven ability to take depositions and conduct witness examinations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
