Since 1980, the firm has built a strong reputation representing developers and general contractors in construction defect and casualty claims. Our client is seeking a Contract Litigation Associate to support their team with a remote work option available. This role will be instrumental in handling civil litigation matters, managing cases, and providing high-level legal support throughout all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery while managing case documentation
• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Provide regular case updates and strategic guidance to clients and insurance partners
• Oversee day-to-day litigation workflow, including case strategy and billable time tracking

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation with active membership in the Oregon State Bar
• Strong experience drafting and arguing motions
• Solid understanding of court processes and litigation procedures
• Proven ability to take depositions and conduct witness examinations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
